You didn't get the memo? The next thing (and hopefully last) I'm adding to the bike is the lower cowl and the seat cowl. I thought I was done modding months ago but I leave it alone for a few weeks and I get the bug again. I need to find a cheaper outlet for my bordom.

It took some time but the projectors are in, I think it looks like factory. I also shortened and painted the TB db killers as they stuck out too much and didn't look right. What do you guys think?

200 degrees for 20 minutes worked for me.

The panel is cut of of 1/8" aluminum sheet. I followed Fizzer6's wite-up here: http://www.sportbikes.net/forums/fz6/410390-ultimate-fz6-projector-headlamp-retrofit.html My plate was very similar to his.

This is what the back of my reflectors look like. It would have been a bi*tch if I didn't have these plastic mounting clips.

The projectors have a very nice cut off line. The brightness difference is literally day and night. I mounted the ballasts in the fairing under the headlights.

The plastic panels came off the old reflector. I also though I had to fab them as well and was not looking forward to it but as it turns out, they were already there. I'll take some more detailed pictures when I get a chance.

Pictures are coming tonight, I haven't finished wiring them up yet, still deciding where to mount the ballast.

Those projectors should fit fine, I still had about another inch of clearance before hitting the plastic cover.

Following Fizzer6's DIY from Sportsbikes.net, I attempted the same retrofit on my headlights this weekend. The projectors and ballast are from a nissan FX 45. Here are some pictures of what I've done so far. More to come after I finish wiring.
