    15 T sprocket

I went with 15T and 48T instead of just the 15. IT IS ABSOLUTELY NUTS. I was popping it up in first, shifting into second AND third. Top speed? I hit 135 gps confirmed with this sprocket setup at the top of 6th. And I weigh 300lbs.

    Aftermarket exhaust & Soft Luggage?

I've got cortech sport bags and they don't touch the exhaust, but even if they did it wouldn't be a problem. They've got like a neoprene cover on the inside and the exhaust cans don't get hot enough to melt it.

What will you be doing to your bike this winter ..

I will be rebuilding my R6 forks and hopefully riding whenever its dry out! I've only ridden once in the past 3 months and its killing me.

    Wrecked yesterday

Dude frame sliders would've totally protected you from flying off the bike. Just kidding. But seriously they could've saved some damage to the bike itself. Good to hear you're okay! It's not about crashing, it's about surviving, physically and mentally.

    Are These 2 Hoses Detached?

Jesus christ yes they are someone must've cut them to play a prank on you! scrap your bike immediately and sell the parts on ebay. Just kidding, as everyone else said they're vacuum tubes for syncing the throttlebodies.

Any1 have an old iPod that works?

You can't transfer regular old MP3's to it? I have never, and will never, buy an Apple product. I have always bought Creative MP3 players because they have more features, better compatibility(more codecs) and are usually cheaper than ipods.

Any1 have an old iPod that works?

I don't have an ipod, but I have an old 30GB Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra(circa 2004) It's big, ugly, and it plays music.

    Looking to sell: 07+ Swingarm

It's a straight bolt on to any year 04-09 It only needs to be repainted because the paint is scratched up. Physically it's perfect, it just has scratches all over. This is the only picture I can find before I boxed it back up. If you're serious about it I'll take it out of the box and take more...

    Looking to sell: 07+ Swingarm

Months and months ago I bought an 07 swingarm off of ebay with hopes to install it. When I got it I realized it would need to be repainted before installing and I never got around to it. Now that I need money more than I need a prettier swingarm, I'm looking to sell it. It comes with...

The only time one of the fillaments has gone out on mine was when I highsided and my bike slammed against the ground. The 2nd fillament lived!

Turning an FZ6 into an R6?

The solution to every thread about people wanting to turn it into an R6 is always the same: Buy an R6.

Turn Signal Flasher and Engine Temp Questions

The relay shouldn't wear out any sooner, but if it does somehow, they're not that expensive, and a good aftermarket one that normalizes the flash rate run about $20 As for the temp thing, it's completely normal. Cruising on the highway with the wind blowing, 2-3 bars is normal. Sitting at a...

    Quality 520 conversion kit??

I didn't go with a kit, instead I purchased the parts separately. I went with a RK 520GXW Gold chain, Renthal 15T steel front, and Supersprox 48T rear. It looks awesome, and performs even more awesome! I got all 3 for cheaper than a new 530 chain without sprockets.

    Clutch Cable Housing problem

The lack of the plastic cover is not a problem. But yes it could be jamming up the cable if it gets stuck in the outer cover. Also check your clutch cable adjustment, at both the lever and under the tank.

    To much??

It calls for 2.96 quarts. I, and almost everyone else just puts in 3 full quarts. If you REALLY think you put in the wrong amount and it's killing you, drain it all out(on the sidestand, with the engine warm) and fill it up with new oil.

Dirty wheel after oiling the chain, what am I doing wrong?

If your wheel/swingarm/chainguard is not dirty, then you're not lubing enough!

    Surging and inconsistent idle issues

Make sure your throttle cables aren't dirty or binded up, both inside the throttle tube and by the throttle bodies. Also make sure the throttlebodies are properly synced. When I swapped out my handlebar and put the throttle tube back on, the cable got slightly binded and it caused all sorts of...

Bike electrics open to the elements?

If you're talking about the exposed battery box area in between the tank and the frame, it's not a problem. I've washed my bike plenty of times and sprayed water on the tank and haven't had an issue, although I wait for it to dry before I ride it.

    My bike, makes a noise

    Haha. Noobs.
