Yeah, I remember that too. But I ignored it and used it anyway. I really don't want one of my engine mount bolts vibrating loose in between regular checks. That would suck! I have no idea why it might be a problem to use it.

+1 on the blue stuff I have Uncaged sliders, left bolt was longer than right.

I have one of the analog (lever indicator) and also less expensive torque wrenches. As long as they are not mis-handled, I believe they are just as accurate as the more expensive clicking type. They require your participation, in that you look at the scale and reach your target torque...

Yeah, it is even or below the wear bars in that center strip. Tons of other area tread, but unfortunately 80 to 90 % of my miles are as you said "on the slab". Even when I am on the twisties, I tend to be pretty mellow. With 2 1/2 and 6 1/2 year old kids, I don't take too many...

What do you guys think? Squaring off, feels good still riding, but I worry about traction on the center. Should I be worried? In the very center of the tire the tread depth is almost gone. This is the original stock back, ~5,500 miles on it.
