I have a black textile and a white and black leather. I had a blue textile before. To me the heat from the sun sort of goes through the textiles regardless of color. The leather is cooler...until it's not.

You need to only remove the inner fairings. Its about 10 hex head screws. Should take 5min tops.

I used to have the same issue. A few things. You are probably bearing all the weight on your wrists. Use you legs to hug the tank. You may also try adjusting how you are sitting. The FZ1 bars helped me. A long highway ride try a throttle lock. That is when it starts buzzing the F out of my hands.

I use a thin flathead and some hairspray.

I haven't had any problems with them. I also didn't use the strange mounts that came with them. What problems are people having with them?

I find music keeps me engaged in riding. I have skullcandy ear buds and really like them. I actually feel it helps me hear traffic and such better. The buds block a lot of wind noise.

I really like my Corbin. The harder material actually makes it easier to sit on for longer amounts of time. The stock seat, I just feel like I sink into. My buddy has an FZ1 and has gone through 3 different seats and still isn't happy. I think it just comes down to rider preference.

I've had the bell vortex for the last 4 years and really liked it. I just bought a scorpion exo1100 for 200.00. The scorpion is lighter but the break in is killing me. The bell always fit really nice and snug even 4 years later.

Never mind...it's fixed. Painted over the valve release on the top of the tank. A very small allen key fixed the issue.
