It is! I think the only thing it needed was better suspension. I'm close to that build right now and after a new set of donuts, suspension is next on the list. (I know, it should have been 1st, but she was willing to buy the bling for me and I wasn't sayin' No! :D ) Did you catch her's Jamie?

My option isn't there. Pull up, sitting on the bike, open the cap and fill it up. I do not get off the bike. Key to filling a bike? NEVER put that handle on full blast!

A couple of the MANY pics along the way. I have to thank Brenda (Lytehouse) for the recommendation of the lowering link and kickstand. :thumbup: You can see that after scuff and prior to paint, the parts had fun with some tubby time. :D Now THIS is how you do Naked on an FZ! :D...

She's VERY happy! :thumbup: Yes, that is the stock potato launcher. I'm unsure if she'll let me put a slip-on there to replace it but I at least plan on blacking out the caps on it. Here's some more close-up shots of her paint. These tell the tale a bit better...

We hope to get a ride in today. We plan on heading down to MA to pop in on Norm who just returned from a couple months in FL. The paint was done by AMG Autobody here in Madbury. He uses only Dupont paints and mixes them all right there. We saved over $800 in labor by prepping the stuff...

Re: Mrs. is now a "Liter Mama!" As mentioned, bought the FZ1 for her and then got a smokin' deal on a lower fairing kit. Well, a lot of sanding later, we dropped it all off at the paint shop and today, I finished her 2007 1-of-a-kind Yamaha Mystic Purple Mica Pearl FZ1. Hope you all like it!
