ASV has always been excellent to deal with directly, so as I initially suggested, check them out. Chances are they can cut alittle bit of a deal...You may pay alittle more upfront compared to pazzo/crg, but 1 fall and it's paid for itself!

the 08s have no lock washers. The countershafts are identical though so it fits spot on! 04-07 have a washer bent to hold the nut from spinning. 08s just have loctite red

british-customs.com also imports pazzo into the US, and they can get for all bikes I believe, so check with them on pricing as well...I say don't skimp out on the brakes and the clutch. These go down, and you're out money quick...The ASV goes down and you get new ones, evem if your bike is totaled

$100 for a set of pazzos is not gonna happen. They cost more than that to dealers! Hell, that's what raw billet will cost you, unmachined!

KTM did concentrate on their offroad segment for years. Then they rethoughth it when sales dropped, and cm back with the duke, super duke, and the RC8...now even the RC8R! I'm still a lover of the 690 SM it's THE KTM to have!

Just finished wiring a brand new harness. I picked the harness up on ebay for 10 bucks, got the flushies for another 5. Took the high beam wire, and inserted it into the h4 connector. Wired in the running pod lights and the turn siggies, alittle bit of work left to finish cleaning it up, but...

It's not an issue, but doing anything more would require another tooth or 2 for the chain. If you're going to be doing one, why not just do both. Trust me, the -1/+2 change is spectacular. Also, if you're changing out the sprockets, I'ld change chains too. No need to risk quicker wear...

If it ends up getting done, I'ld be keeping the clipons...probably something with a bit of a rise still, bbut definitely clip ons. I may have a lead on an r6 front end for cheap. if t happens ill definitely keep that project well explained
