Underneath your exhaust covers (silencers) there's a pair of flat metal supports that you can put some load on with straps. Edit: Those supports attach to the license plate bracket IIRC.

Some of the similarities are there. The huge perimeter style front brake IIRC is a Buell staple. Also the new EBRs are storing fuel in the frames, just like the old Buell line did. Older Buell bikes did other interesting things, including under-engine centered exhausts.

You certainly seem to like, and that's what counts. After all, and extra 400 cc is just 20% of the volume of a 2-liter. Not that much more power than fz6.........right? :rolleyes:

It may not be avoidable. I noticed, before I had waterproof pants, that the water pooled up at my crotch just because your legs make a bowl with the seat and tank there, and acceleration draws water back against your grundle.

I feel like water proof pants should be attainable. The pants I have use the same kind of liner as the jacket, which seems to work as long as it's not being directly hit by 60 mph hail.

First thing that comes to mind is the area you ride through. (It could also just be bad luck). I don't know if there's a construction site you drive by regularly or what. Try changing your route?
