The unit comes with the 12v power supply cord, and as you say it does have a mute control button and an alert led in red, it also has a green power on led.

I have a passport on the bike and in my truck, I use my molded earphones plugged in to the detector and my Ipod so it works really well, by the way I have a virtually new X50 for sale in the forum "For Sale" section..:thumbup:

As the title says I have an almost new used Passport 8500 X50 Radar Detector with blue display for sale, these units are excellent as they have an earphone jack that can be used while riding, my wife brought me a new model for a gift hence I am offering this one here, comes with the original box...

I'm going to be doing the BD43 headlight mod and was wondering do I need to replace the bulbs as the right hand bulb only has 2 connectors H7 I think??? Would prefer more light too rather than all the blue hype, I want to be able to see any animals a ways off that might be crossing the road...

I saw a thread somewhere that a 2007 seat fits a 2006 but the fit around the tank is not too clever and it sticks up a little high at the back, just something I remember reading..FWIW

I have DB killers coming for my Leos from Italy, 6 to 12 weeks out so we shall see what sort of difference they will make. $48 a piece but could save me a ticket!

I have the Suburban, they fit like a glove with no mods to brake lines or cables and gave me the exact riding position I was looking for, yes expensive but no more aching wrists or weird riding position.

Definately a new seat, Corbin or TS from France, I am 6' 1" 225lbs, I have also fitted the taller windshield which HAS made a difference for me even though there are a lot of threads on this topic so you can make your own mind up on that one!! Suburban bars gave me a more comfortable riding...

Well finally got the leos on today with no problems at all, also fitted the new fender eliminator and luckyirishboy209 footpegs, looks and sounds excellent!! Pictures to follow when I have daylight.
