Looks cool. I have a genuine question about the placement of the exhaust. Will that do anything funky to the rear tire? Would the excess heat on it or sute from the exhaust on it cause any issues? Just wondering. Love the look and it sounds nasty!

As far as the puck goes...use the puck when you aren't on the bike. When you are getting ready to leave straighten the bike out and kick the puck out and pick it up. Then proceed to get on the bike. If your kickstand can't keep the bike up for two seconds you parked in the wrong dang spot.

Hate to say it but it probably has more to do with the blacktop than the kickstand. This is a, I'll say, fairly common occurrence in the sport bike world. I avoid blacktop, especially the crack sealer spots.

Coshocton has some great roads. If you are looking for more local riders look at ohioriders.net they have lots of local rides. Fz6 site is great for our bikes but generally to spread out for rides. I have the same screen name on both sites. Cheers

My buddy and I did an engine swap in his 02 FZ1. It took about 5hrs, and most of that was us dicking about with it. Swap it out. Ride it.

Several years ago I wrecked my fizz and did this exact thing. I was so frustrated and just sorta said screw it I want to ride it...magically my headlights came on. Needless to say I haven't forgotten since...lol

There is probably a variety of reasons for this. First loosen the death grip you probably have on the bars. If you have the stock bars toss those aside and do the FZ1 bar swap. It will help tremendously. Until then loosen your hand. Try sitting up on the tank more using your legs to squeeze the...

Just a thought, do you have the stock exhaust or aftermarket? In either. Aæ I'd make sure all the exhaust bolts are tightened up. I have a Leo Vince titanium exhaust which I ended up using an exhaust clamp. I tightened that up, assumed it loosed due to vibration, and had no more ticking sound.
