Totally by acciddent. I was cleaning the bike using a few different chemicals. Had the bike on the centerstand in my small garage, grabbed a chemical without looking and squirted it on my sheild. :eek:

Plexus or water. I wouldn't use any other types of chemicals. I learned my lesson when I squirted brake cleaner on my shield.

My vote goes to saftey and rideability. Brake pads, SS lines, suspension work, leather, or even tires.

Maybe people aren't as friendly in New England but in 3.5 years on my FZ I only had two people tell me the headlight was out, and one was girlfriend before she knew about it.

Used them for a season and loved them, but sold my FZ. They are an awesome combination with CRG mirrors. They have a space for clamp on mirrors, are weighted like stock bar ends, and double as sliders for the end of the bars. 50$ shipped.
