I figured I would finally follow up here.
The night before I didn't sleep well at all as I was so nervous and excited about going, like a kid on Christmas.
I was a total wuss the first day, but I listened to the instructors and learned the line the best I could. The rider coaches were...
I'm just going to end up leaving the center stand off. When I first got the bike I thought it would be useful for changing the oil. Then I changed the oil.
I also don't think prep is a big deal. The mirrors are most involved part. I was amused at the couple people I saw when I went to check...
Hi everyone!
I'm going to be riding with Tony's Track Days on September 18th and 19th at NJMP. I've heard from numerous people that their beginner program is excellent.
I'm really excited about my first time at the track, and I've spent a lot of time getting everything together for it. I...
I also had Spencer customize my seat. He customizes it for wherever you sit on the seat and your weight. Night and day difference from the stock seat, especially for long rides.
The only bad part is being without your seat while he does it.
I felt bad that I missed out on this. Joe shot me a text, but I've been pretty under the weather the last week with bronchitis.
I hope you guys plan to do something again this summer. I would definitely be interested in making the ride up from South Jersey.
The bikes look great!
I have the Cortech and find it convenient in general and easy to mount.
I just wrap the straps through the passenger grips and underneath, then connect the clips to each other. It's never fallen off.
I also like how it can clip in to the saddlebags should I choose to add them later.
Italian style with a Japanese drive train sounds like a recipe for success to me.
I don't think the place where you're supposed to put your rear qualifies as a seat though. :p
I'm one of the people that started on the FZ6, and am only up somewhere between 1200 and 1300 miles. I have no regrets getting the FZ6, but it was not the first bike I put a leg over. I spent a few hours riding lower speeds on other bikes before purchasing my own, two others besides the one at...
That's hot, I'm a fan of orange bikes, and that headlight is awesome. Did you go with HIDs or just regular bulbs? How loud is that exhaust?
My only question is... what's up with the purple things on the forks? They make me think of an outside faucet. You know, for a garden hose.
Dude.
You have so many awesome pictures there, and you choose one of your bike next to a sign on some dirt? Am I missing something?
Also, lol I didn't know Casa Bonita was real.
I have a Beagle, and that face does nothing. He's just about to pee on the floor or go outside, roll in the dirt or mud, and bring it all inside.
Where's the gallery of the other pictures from your trip? I appear to be failing at finding photos in someone's profile.
It looks like a competitor to the Kawasaki Versys to me. I like it.
I don't think it looks like an adventure bike. I thought an adventure bike was like the Super Tenere or the BMW GS bikes.
I have the 1100 as well and love it. I don't find it to be all that quiet with the top vents open, but it most definitely is with them closed. Everything else about it is great, and it's so difficult to find "that helmet" that I figured it was willing to compromise on that.
I went with the...
Wow, a battery life that's actual factual. That's impressive in and of itself.
To me, CM6.1 feels faster than stock, but I don't use HTC Sense. I like having more icons on my screens. I use whatever ADWLauncher CM has installed at the time. I've been running it since CM6.0 RC1, trying Sense...
