the old bridgestone's had 7k on them, and i don't know about the cable, i bought the bike second hand last year and i have 23k on it now.
this is all on KM btw, i am Canadian.
Also, the hardest about the clutch cable is rooting it in the frame !!
nah, there was a difference but not enough to make me think it would be THIS BIG of a difference when installed :)
i feel i can go in traffic for hours now ! lol
Just want to share a little story, my clutch was so hard that i had pieces home to modify the length like you see on a thread, i also changed the cable, when i took it off i tested both cable and i did not feel a big difference in the two, but i changed it..... boy o boy WHAT a difference, i no...
I understand that, keep in mind that if the bike go down, any kind of levers will break, so i rather brake a 40$ brake lever than a set of pazzos.
I went with long ones because of the effort it takes for the clutch, i come from a R-1 with nice smooth clutch.
Anyway my intention were to...
Stop with pazzo's, its a brake lever.... its not rocket science, they wont brake !
There is different grade of aluminium, but for levers do we really care ?
Pay 3 times more if you want, my original thread was about Ebay levers review ;)
thanks
Grats, good thing you got the blue one, we all know they are faster and better.
I got the exact bike here in Canada, 2 months ago, 4800$ with 20k kilometers.
Have fun !!
Now the REAL question, what will be the 1st mod !!???
:BLAA:
Just came back from my brother's house to show off, he tells me "should the chain guard be hanging like that ?"
oups, lost the bolt that holds the rubber part on the swingarm, good thing i have one on the old swingarm :cheer:
Should have check that bolt but it was getting late ...
Dont bend them, they will snap, you have to take the grips off.
What i did is go to Yamaha dealer and bought a pair of ATV mirror brackets, they have ones with the clip that you can separate to install.
