My bike was a naked one so I'm not sure but the bungs do come with a collar/spacer thing which makes them stick out a bit more so I guess that's perhaps what you mean.
They're at work now so I'll check the model number tomorrow and you can look them up on the R&G site to see if they're...
Just remembered that I've also got a winter jacket for sale, might be useful now that the weather is getting colder
Weise winter jacket for sale. Size is XL and I'd say it would fit a 40-42" chest. Comes with padded thermal liner and shoulder and elbow protection.
No rips or tears or...
Just sold my 2005 FZ6 so I've got a set of brand new (fitted for a few weeks) R&G aero crash bungs for sale and a SpeedoDRD
The SpeedoDRD cost me £50 plus £20 for customs and VAT so I'm looking for £45 plus postage (£5) . It's literally just a few weeks old. Why wait a month for it to ship...
Got a few bits for sale so if anyone is interested let me know before they go on eBay.
Set of R&G aero crash bungs (about a month old so it perfect condition)
A speedoDRD (again, about a month old)
A brand new genuine Yamaha clutch cable which I never got round to fitting.
After 18 months of FZ ownership I've decided to scratch that Triumph itch and bought myself a Street Triple so that means that for one lucky person they get to own my lovely FZ6. Before I put it up for sale in the usual places I thought I'd put it on here first in case anyone was interested...
I had new tyres fitted not long ago and the wheels were balanced then. Interestingly enough my front wheel didn't need any weights as it was perfectly balanced without them, the rear needed a few though.
Mine feels a bit like this too. It's had new tyres, fork oil and head bearings fairly recently so I doubt it's any of those. I just assumed that the FZ was a bit of a "loose" bike but I think I'll get my mechanic to check it over when I get my new chain and sprocket fitted next week.
With...
I've got Pazzos on my ZX6R and they're decent enough. Next time though ill spend a little more and get ASVs as they're just so much better looking and more adjustable.
The Pazzos don't adjust enough on the brake side on the ZX, even on the closest setting they're still a fair distance from the...
I've got the same helmet and am disappointed with the wind noise too. If I turn my head sideways it's pretty quiet but I can hardly ride like that. Considering the price I expected better.
If you're in Bristol then just go to castle combe. It's just down the road whereas Silverstone is miles away!
I'm off to do the Ron Haslam race school next month then after that I'll maybe do a few castle combe track days after that.
I test rode a Street Triple last week, was very nice. Not dissimilar to the FZ but felt lighter, smoother and much better low down power. Very tempted but I think I'll hang onto the FZ for a while longer yet, still enjoying it.
In the end I admitted defeat and took it to an auto electrician. Cost me £50 but it's fixed now, was a broken wire up near the front of the frame which had worn through apparently.
The fuse has never blown. It's fine. What happens is that one day I'll get on the bike and the indicators work fine, then 10 mins of riding later they stop working. It's just intermittent which is why it's so annoying.
I don't have a multimeter but I'll see if I can borrow one from sombody.
