I have one on my 2004 model, thinking of selling due to 20-30% increased fuel consumption - not worth it for the jerkiness fix alone IMO. And PC3 alone was ~10% of FZS 1000 (1st gen FZ1) price, if I really wanted power I'd buy a different bike instead.

Some aftermarket italian ones, sturdy, doesn't vibrate at speed and provide good view. Needed a new set after restoring the bike otherwise would probably have stocks (not the FZ6N chrome ones though!)

Changed PC3 map to a different one to see if it improves mileage, lowered the gear leaver by a couple of teeth on the splined shaft in hopes to reduce false neutrals going 1-2, I had it lowered already through the bolts.

Man, where was this thread 6 months ago? With PCIII and stock map, 15T front sprocket I'm getting as low as 29mpg (8+ l/100km). Now I do like the upper RPM range but 29mpg on a stock 600?! I doubt the original R1 would drink that much and no amount of tuning will bring the FZ6 anywhere near...
