    New chain problem

Ok what ive discovered is that the chain goes tight when the rear sprocket is in 1 location because the teeth of sprocket contact the roller surface on the chain instead of meshing. Any thoughts on what could cause this?

    New chain problem

Wondering if when i installed my master link if I put that too tight if it would cause this problem? However when i installed it i kept checking the masterlink and it moves freely no binding , and when the chain gets tight the master link i installed is in the middle of the swingarm.

I ordered a 120 link chain and removed 1 link before installing. I mocked it up with the 120 link chain and it was too long so I removed a link. I didnt think the cush drive would have much of an impact , but when I get home from work tonight I will start all over from square one removing the...

Thanks for your help and suggestions everyone. I am going to try adjusting the chain tension when the chain gets tight there and see if that solves the problem. If it does , i will still pull the wheel off and check the cush drive and fix that stripped stud. Also , the little rubbers inside the...

I guess what I can try first is adjusting chain tension from that tight spot if I can , I already have the axle almost all the way forward. If i set the tension from that tight spot and then the chain doesnt get super loose where its not tight right now I guess I solved my problem. Just kind of...

I tightned the nuts in a star pattern. I have not rode the bike yet as the chain gets super tight when it gets to that point so I don't want to drive it until I get smooth movement with correct tension. I had the rear wheel off last week to have new tires installed and never had this problem...

    Chain clicking

Hi Folks, Replaced tires and steering head bearings over the weekend and the bike handles awesome now. Just one question , i string aligned the rear wheel and now get a slight "clicking" noise when taking off out of 1st gear. It sounds liek the chain is binding up on the rear sprocket. I...

    New Parts Coming!

Decided to stay with the stock 16-46 tooth sprocket combination and looking at an EK SRO-Z 530-120 chain. I am also thinking about getting one of them motion-pro chain alignment tools for $20 as the string method works but this will make things easier. Any thoughts on this tool?

    New Parts Coming!

So I did some inspecting tonight on the bike and noticed that I have 16t front and 46t rear sprockets. The front sprocket shows signs that the chain has been rubbing into the face of it as it is grooved out. I played around with string aligning and the tire didnt seem to be really out of...
