Bump!
I'm moving the first week in June and really need to sell this beauty. I've loved this but need the money to move. Asking $4500 but I'll entertain offers!
I used to consistently get 42mpg on the FZ6, however the past few tanks I've only been getting 36, low enough to where I think something is wrong. I've checked the fluids, oil is new, tire pressure is fine. The only thing that's changed is that I've moved to a new city, would the huge drop in...

May not be worth it to buy online for just that one screw. I'd try to find it local first.
I ordered the part off ebay, I think it may be for a 2005 (The plastic was a little bluer than my old one)
The dealer, and a couple of OEM stores I checked online, are currently backordered for the part. I was told at least a month before they would have it.
Yesterday I replace my rear brake fluid reservoir as my old on had a hole in it. The new reservoir stem is just a slightly smaller diameter than the old one. Because of this the hose and clamp are too loose.
I was thinking of putting a little silicone over it, to seal it and keep it in place...
Amazing!
I used to work with birds of prey, they are absolutely fantastic creatures. My favorite was a Eurasian eagle owl named Luna. She had a 6 foot wing span and was dead silent when flying.
Their talons hurt like hell, though.
Wow, really? Come on, guys, let's have some consistency. Every time a rider is killed during a police chase, we go on about how dangerous and unnecessary it was for the police to pursue them in a chase. This happened just recently. Lots of people here were angry with the police department for...
Thanks guys!
It doesn't affect handling at all, can't even tell it's bent. Except when I'm looking at it of course.
It's a real easy mod. There's one hole that needs to be drilled, there's one on one side but not on the other, so you just need to drill a hole to make it symmetrical. It...
Some of you may remember when I wrecked a few years back. (See this thread: http://www.600riders.com/forum/hall-shame/8823-just-got-out-er.html) Also, here is what it looked like before: http://www.600riders.com/forum/attachments/hall-shame/8238d1222241340-just-got-out-er-img_0454.jpg
Well...
That's totalled? Really?
It's great that you're recovering, it must really suck to have all those broken bones, but it's good you're okay.
That bike doesn't look too bad, unless there's engine/frame damage I'm not seeing. Really, mine looked 5 times worse and I fixed it for about $1000...
I do it all the time when I'm accelerating hard or on the freeway. Just preload the shifter, then flick the throttle a little bit. After some practice you'll get to the point where you can't even feel the shift.
