Discs are usually really slow-wearing items unless you use sintered pads on discs not made for it. As for why, I would guess heat dissipation worsens and risk of the disc cracking increases

Alrighty, thanks for the info. I was wondering if it was normal to have the 2nd line just hanging to vent out, thought it had to run back to the cooling system to return the coolant as it contracts, but I suppose it's the first main hose that does that?
Hahahah I couldn't compare it to the original as I've not ridden a proper R6 (this is my first 'bigger' bike, from a Suzuki GS500) but it's a very enjoyable experience on the street, I'm in love with it when I ride it. Yeah I'm not sure why either but it is what it is.
