Hi Folks,

I am riding from Austin to Lockhart next Saturday with a few fellow riders to meet-up at 11:30 am with another larger motorcycle group at the Kreuz BBQ Market.

Let me know if you want to join our ride group to Lockhart. I will depart Austin around 8:30 am. The weather on Saturday should be in the 50s-60s and partly cloudy.

What a great crew and good food to boot in Lockhart, Texas...despite the lows 40s degree temps all day long, thick fog and rain.

Kreuz Barbeque
Kreuz Market (pronounced 'Krites') located at 619 North Colorado Street is the most unique dining experience you've ever had. The beef, sausage or pork is served on brown butcher paper. No side dishes here. But you can enjoy a slice of cheddar cheese, chunk of onion, fresh tomatoes, avocado and your favorite beverage. Don't ask for barbecue sauce. They don't have it and quite honestly are offended if anyone asks. The owners say, 'good barbecue doesn't need sauce.'

I live in Katy, TX and am also a member of the Two Wheel Texans. I was looking at doing this RTE, but the weather and a list of pre-christmas honeydos meant I didn't make it. Looks like it was a blast.
