Hi all I am new to Yamaha as I use to be a bmw r series rider till it became to impractical. So my question/ info needed is that I have just got a 2006 fz6n non abs with black engine what I have found is if I got to full lock to the right the speedo goes out bike still runs, so took headlight off and found the 4pin plug has been damaged on the loom side, does the headlight loom plug in to main loom like the s version or is it wired directly in. If it plugs in is there some where I can get a spare or working secondhand one, or if wire in direct do I just repin and replug. Tia

You can simply re-pin it to a new connector of your choosing. Or, as you mentioned, direct wire it.
Ok cool but just one question is the headlight loom play and play like the s version or is it one with the main loom.
If it's plug and play is there a part no.

I doesn’t look like the plug on my bike (mine is white with spade connectors) but different countries may have different rules for such things. My headlight connector is separate from the connector that goes to the instrument cluster. To be honest, those pins look too small for a headlight connector.

I don't see the loom available(or even listed alone).

Might search these sites:
