Hi, all! It's been a while since I posted here, but it's nice to see that things are alive and well. Back in September, some bonehead decided to clip my parked FZ6 on the street late one nice with their car.
The good news: I wasn't on the bike, nobody was hurt, the frame sliders saved the engine (yet again), and insurance is covering the repairs.
The bad news: It was next to a utilities pole, and that pole (I think) dented the tank when the bike was whipped around. So, as some have posted previously here, there don't seem to be many FZ6 tanks around for sale on ebay.
Anyway, it seems I can get most of the parts that I need, but not the OEM tank, for whatever reason. I thought I'd post here in the faint hope that someone might have one available for sale.
