Hi,
I had my frame off the bike for new paint, now I am putting 2 halves together, but not succeed to find out in manual what torque those 6 bolts have to be tightened.
Can someone help?

I couldn't find it either when I had mine apart, so I tightened them all in a cross pattern until snug then went a full turn on them all. I also scribed a mark on them so I could see if they backed out and they haven't moved at all.

The service manual definitely doesn't seem to list them, but it does have a general torques table. Shows 30nm/22lb.ft. for M10, 55nm/40lb.ft. for M12, 85nm/61lb.ft. for M14, and 130nm/94lb.ft. for M16.

Thank you, gentlemen! Looks like it should be 30Nm according to service manual general torque specs although engine to frame fixation on same size bolts torque is 55Nm. What would you recommend now? :)

I used a torque wrench (which I almost never do) putting my frame sliders on. I can tell you it scared the hell out of me torquing those bolts to 40ft.lbs., it felt REALLY close to pulling the threads out of the aluminum.

Are those frame head bolts really only M10? I would've thought they were 12mm.

Surprisingly it is M10.

And hell yes...to torque it to 55Nm shall be easy as I have 45cm long arm on tool, but I am worrying to tear off the bolt.

I will update you. Hopefully with good news :)

I have a chance to test the torque on other bike and found out that it was tighten to a bit over 55Nm. Although there is glue in threads (I guess) what can make my findings distorting/misleading...

And the other finding was that the lowest point of joint of two halves of frame (2 long screws through metal box) has toque of 70Nm.

I used above mentioned values, all looks fine so far, but would have to properly test by riding.

Thank you all!

I'd make sure the threads are super clean and IMO, put a little red locktite on the threads just for insurance.

I wouldn't compare the torque values of the rear engine mount bolts(steel bolts with steel nuts), their also NOT SUPPPORTING THE STEERING HEAD BEARINGS.

As posted above, with no torque value listed, I'd go by the general value listed for a steel bolt into aluminum threads (if its the same size bolt as the three short engine mounts, I'd stop at 40 Ft lbs, the same torque as those front 3 engine mount bolts-steel into aluminum)

Good luck..
