This is the Matris shock for R6 that I want to mount to my FZ6,I think it should will fit with minor modifications of plastic under the seat?

has anybody done the 6 shock conversion,does the R6(s) shock fit ? I came across a Matrix gas shock for R6,wonder if I can use it on FZ6 with minor modifications ?
