Yeah found that out via my dail calipers. My dumb ass pulled the shims out and didnt record what came from where so now I have to measure each shim and put them back it then remeasure the clearance :spank: Live and learn. Having only 8 valves on the 990 Adventure sure is easier to manage...

Just measured mine. All 8 exhaust valves were tight. Only issue is the fact that I can't read what size the shims are. I can't find my dial calipers to measure them either... Odd thing is the one I can clearly read has 181 on it even though the shims only come in multiples of 5s. Does anyone...

I doubt they are rushed because its a well known fact in the ADV bike world that people dont buy OEM stuff because the AM will make a better product for a cheaper price. Hell, BMW knows this so well that they wised up and bought an aftermarket company.

Ehh the OEM accessories are lackluster. For skid plates and crashbars that will actually save your bike, look into AltRider and for a pannier system there is no better than Touratech but they aren't for cheapass people.

good news, i shot the bulb with a multimeter and both filaments gave me O.L. I ordered a led bulb and tomorrow ill go buy a 1157 bulb to use until it gets here.
