PC3 - Powercommander??
I remember sometime back I decided not to biy the K&N filter because I wrote in some other forum (can't remember where) that K&N would have no real effect without tuning = Powercommander or something like that. But I can't really see why Yamaha's electrics wouldn't measure the better airflow and make use of it - seems like you had a positive experience with K&N at least.
I like the part about revs...

Hey mate,I have not dyno'd the bike but when I installed the K&N the bike felt a lot easier to rev ,fuel consumption did drop marginally ,but nothing drastic.
I have a PC3 on the way so I will see what happens after that.
