    Comfortable Motorway/Highway cruising speeds

Not sure if it helps but my Fazer had a big screen, as did my gsx before it so was also able to tuck in at speed/wind. Since hopping to a naked bike it was hard at first doing the same speed, lots of buffeting. Simple solution for me was a new helmet a carbon fibre one (HJC RHPA 10+) which has...

Motorcycle Live 2015 (and the MT-10 in person)

So far only for the EU market, I suppose to test the water and exports at a later year. You are getting treated to the exclusivity for the R1S which will be US only though, which is a *slightly* cheaper version of the new R1 which keeps the same electronics but has heavier (cheaper) metals for...

MV Augusta Brutalle 800RR Ride Review

I agree that MV do make some of the nicest looking bikes around but it's hard to see any of them as practical or day-to-day commuting bikes. Fueling is a simple problem fixed by a power commander so don't let that put you off. With my current bike the Honda CB1000R it does have some of those...

Motorcycle Live 2015 (and the MT-10 in person)

Have just got back from a great weekend in Birmingham/Solihull. Anyone else going/been? What has been your highlight? I enjoyed the MT-10, some think its ugly but it has a robotic charm to it. The Africa-twin is really ugly in the flesh but fits in with the majority of the adventure...

    Textile jackets

I'm running the alpinestars Valparaiso suit, it is similar with the removable waterproof and thermal liners. It is one front waterproof pocket and the rest are water resistant. It's fantastic for the warmth but they use something in the thermal layer which makes it thinner than normal liners so...

    Clutch Cable Fail

Mine went from at the lever too, I wouldn't be suprised if it was due to the fact I had renthal bars so thats obviously changed the dynamic and how the cable is pulled when the clutch is engaged. Kinda makes me happy my new ride has a hydraulic clutch!

    Clutch Cable Fail

I had this happen to me, cable snapped and got a bit hairy. DON'T buy from ebay, bought from 2 different companies both were too long. Wemoto carry the OEM and this one which did work fine for me: Yamaha FZ6-S Fazer Non ABS / Floating Calipers (5VX) 04-05 Clutch Cable - Slinky Glide...

3 months after selling the FZ6 I have a new yammy

I'm led to believe that it is fuel injected being a 2007 but no idea what carb there is. Like the idea of the engine bars, seems like a smart investment if I'm going to be using it on snow/ice later in the year!

3 months after selling the FZ6 I have a new yammy

I found if you want to take a bend at 30+ you do it like your in speedway and have a foot on the road on the side your turning - the front tyre is the same width of my downhill mountain bike and the bakes not much more so you can't lean a whole lot but it does drop straight in on those bends. I...

3 months after selling the FZ6 I have a new yammy

Her she is, throttle pinned going flat out at a staggering 60mph (headwind took the last 5 it can do). Slipstreaming is a genuine process for any overtake and it's really fun using a vehicle to help slingshot you forward like a Moto3 racer!

3 months after selling the FZ6 I have a new yammy

Wanting to get my girlfriend into bikes I went out and bought her this 07 YBR. Solid condition, light surface rust to be expected but full service history and plenty of parts replaced in april this year - the owner hadn't planned on selling until a week ago when he bought a Diverson (FZ6R) on...

New bike on the way for me, Honda CB1000R

So look what just arrived. I was bought as a distance purchase so I wasn't able to view beforehand (dealer offers a money-back guarantee) and it was advertised as coming with tail tidy, hugger and crash bungs. I've spotted a few more that they didn't mention.
