    Genuine Yamaha parts numbers

Thanks for your input, fellow rider. As for prices, handlebar here is, like, more in the $90-100 rage. Around $40 in the U.S. I would tend to think that the (1B3) Brazilian 26111-10 and the U.S. (5VX) 26111-10 are the same. Can anyone confirm this?

    Genuine Yamaha parts numbers

Hi there, I have a 2009 FZ6-N sold from Yamaha Brazil. As far as I know it is the same model sold in Europe; matter of fact, it probably is the same sold all over but in the U.S. I'm in need of a handle bar, whose OEM code in Brazil is 1B3-26111-10. The code for the same part in the U.S. is...

engine "popping" from lean air/fuel mixture?

Well, Coder, I copy that. Perhaps when the new garage opens up, but for the now I will stick to the Co1/Co2 feat. Brazil is pretty much still a mixture of 1st/3rd/4th worlds, despite the recent hype and buzz.

engine "popping" from lean air/fuel mixture?

Hey Nccoder, Thanks, but I cannot use your map since I do not have a PCIII installed in me bike. And judging by what I heard people writing about the C1/C2 adjustments, a PC isn't really necessary for the FZ6. Someone may confirm this, please?

engine "popping" from lean air/fuel mixture?

Kris, Gidday mate! I actually have given some thought about purchasing a PCIII (wonder if the new PC-V will work on my FZ6), but, first, it's relatively expensive and, second, I'd have to wait until somebody arrived from the U.S. to smuggle one in for me to dodge that myriad of taxes we pay to...

engine "popping" from lean air/fuel mixture?

For those U.S. friends (or other non-SI system for that matter) out there, please note: 13 km/liter = 30.57 miles/gallon 1200 km = 746 miles

engine "popping" from lean air/fuel mixture?

Hello guys, I have a 2009 FZ6N and just recently installed the following (in the described order): 1) M2 Two Bros titanium cans 2) NGK iridium spark plugs 3) K&N air filter There was a gap of a month or two before 1 and 2/3, and then the bike would run nice. I had the local dealer guys...

    Break-In after First Service

I have a 2009 FZ6 and ask myself related questions now that I'm at 350 km/217 miles: should I observe what the manual says about breaking in, or should I, according to the local dealer's mechanic and an extreme-style rider friend of mine, break in at full throttle or else the engine will become...

Mind you, that part of the country is where people are supposedly more polite than those who live here in the northeast. Thanks for the advice. In fact, it is the very reason why it is mandatory to install performance exhausts so people HEAR and FEAR. The stock FZ6 exhaust is kind of quiet...

Greetings all from Fortaleza, Brazil! I'm a proud, eager owner of a 2009 Yammy FZ6N, got it in Aug. 24 but been riding it for the last couple of weeks only (due to work assignments I had to leave the puppy sitting in the garage for a while ...). Other than that, I'm a raw rookie rider in...

F-boy, Your bike is sick, mate, kudos to it! Shame that here in Brazil we don't get the parts to do modding like that... it's sort of a rich man's pastime with all the embedded taxes that we have to pay. Almost everything we get here is increased by a factor of at least 1.5x. Anyhow...
