Welcome, I've done a load of two up work on mine, but thankfully missus has her own ER6 Kwak now. Never had any faults in 32K save for a throttle position sensor issue, but loads of good info on here if something does go amiss.
This happened to me a fair bit, mainly when shutting the throttle whilst filtering. Took mine in at the time of the TPS recall and was okay for a while then it started (stopped!) again, so took it to a different dealer and its not happened since. This is the only fault i've had in 32K so can't...
I'm from Altrincham way and have just retired my FZ6N from commuting duties at 30K, (pity the poor CG125 that takes over!)
I'll be nipping to the thundersprint in May, where the best bit will, as always, be everyone elses bikes rather than the "entertainment" itself.
I've boycotted the...
221 mile round/curvy trip to Wales
Took my FZ6 to Woods in abegele for service, they kindly lent me an MT03 so spent the afternoon in the hills. Great motor for tight roads but seat was worse than my FZ6.
well i'll be darned
Let's hope it's turned to reality. Although I reckon if councils aren't bothered about potholes they'll never fit these, apart from maybe when the old ones are nicked by travelling folk....and if they are cheaper.
howdo
I'm gonna be busy spending next few months riding slowly behind the missus on her new kwak er6f while she gets some confidence, but always go to oulton park bsb's and maybe donington this year as well if i've got enough cash. Bikefest at donington was an interesting do last year only a...
Floods
It's been raining for so long in UK i've been considering trading bike in for an Ark , i'm on it every day though cos I don't drive a car and promised myself never to get a bus again once i'd tasted 2 wheels.
balls or not
the fz6 feels tonnes better when using ones balls, when traffic builds up or commuting slowly i cover the pedals, I was trained not to cover the brakes during normal riding and if your paying attention and not speeding your brakes will be covered before you need them. that doesnt...
