Yes full resistance at + & - pins on RR I have never jump started the bike from another vehicle, only bump started it.

Thank you very much, I have tested the stator for acv and get between 20 and 60 depending on engine speed. I have a good connection between the positive pin at the RR plug and the positive battery lead. I have the RR out but still connected and the bike running but no severe heat at the...

so i found how to test the RR and it appears to be okay unless i did something wrong. found a corroded connector and cleaned it up but it didnt help. YouTube so i have ruled out the stator and the RR. so it must be a crappy battery, or a loose connection somewhere? dont know what to...

So my battery has been on the tender since yesterday evebing and is now 'maintaining'. I'm going to leave it connected till tomorrow but how do I load test it? Thanks :)

Thanks, waiting for recovery, I'll remove the battery and leave it on charge till Saturday and take it from there

So it is, abnormal voltage in electrical systems, must have a short somewhere but god knows where.

Just noticed the dash says 46 and cannot be changed by pressing buttons, could this be an error code?

No loose connection on the battery terminals, anywhere else I can check?

I don't think its charging related, the battery wouldn't have lost power between 10 this morning and now, especially as its hooked up to a tender every night, we'll see if it a loose connection or not wife just pulled up :)

Well I didn't get very far, wouldn't turn over again so I bumped it and she started and seemed fine except for light on so I thought I'd try and limp home but after getting out onto the road she started mid firing and bogged down so I've pulled into a tesco and am hunting for Allan keys...

I was on my way to work, everything was normal and then I noticed the check engine light come on, I slowed down and cruised into work and the light remained on. Got to work and turned off the bike and then tried to restart but the battery did not have enough juice to turn it over. Two hours...
