Jb weld claims to be completely resistant to gasoline. Should be fine to use to seal up the crack or small hole.

Welcome! I follow the owners manual which calls for oil change every 4000miles and oil filter change every other oil change or 8000 miles. As far as which oil to use, there are already many a thread on that topic. Search function will bring those up. :thumbup:

No they're all within spec. I took the buckets of to record what size shims are under each to assist in my next valve check.

Yes. Ranging from 1.78mm to 1.81mm. Either every exhaust valve loosened roughly the same amount (hard to believe), or the factory didn't set the proper clearance.

After seeing our setup I have answered my own question. Do not stack shims. It would make no sense to even if it were safe to do so. Update and valve adjustment how to with lots of pics to come.

I do the same thing! People always ask me to teach them how to ride. My response is to take the MSF course. That and if they don't own a bike they sure as hell aren't riding mine!!
