Why no one will sell you the bike you want

Well, yeah if at least 10% of commuters would switch to bikes, we would solve most of congestion's problem and gas consumption. The big part of problem is I agree, in the riding education in America. Make him/her ride only a 250-300cc bike for the first year. They'll get more familiar with...

    Fz6 vs fz8

Personally I like the sitting position of FZ09, but when riding over 70-75 mph the wind starting to push me back. On the other hand, when I test-rode the Street 3Pl, with its flywheel at 80 I felt almost nothing. I guess it's also depends on the wind direction too.

I'm back from my cross country trip: Act IV

Beautiful!. This is what it's all about - seeing the World. How comfortable you were riding FZ for many hours a day? I think an ADV bike would be a bit more comfortable for it? But maybe it's more in a rider not a bike :) When you lived in Germany, did you have chance riding in Alps? That's...

    Fz6 vs fz8

Cool bike. Resembles FZ6/1. Maybe the suspensions will be improved and I hope the ABS will be an option like in most today's bikes, (com'on Yamaha).

    Fz6 vs fz8

I also think the 6 is a better all-around. Coming from a huge cruiser is gonna be a good change. Personally, I'd go from 6 to 09, just the absence of the windshield and the touring factor plus 2up riding LD is kind of holding me back.

    Fz6 vs fz8

My friend is thinking of buying a street bike in addition or instead of his Kawa Vulcan 1600. He likes the prices for older FZ6 or even FZ8 but can't decide which he'd like more. The FZ-09 is out of scope cas it's still new and the prices are significantly higher, so it can wait for few more...

Fuel Grade (regular, mid-range or premium)

In the summer when the temps over 85-90f I noticed that with 93 it pulls better. But in colder temps I don't see a difference. As for burbs, it used to do with aftermarket muffler, bu with a stock one it works fine no matter what fuel.

    Front springs question

Thanks. I'm 150lb but often ride 2up and it can get to 280-300+ w/luggage. But I'd like to replace them mostly because I don't think they have the feel I want. Especially over the bumpy roads which we still have plenty here. Feels too harsh. Maybe progressive ones would do better...

    Front springs question

Have anyone replaced the front springs? I thing the stock ones are not ideal, even with the 5wt oil. They feel woody IMO

    Need your opinion

Yeah, the helmet position makes it more "personal" IMO. It's Drift Ghost with an extended mic. As for the air, no influence on getting it under the helmet, although it does get's there on the highways. Here is another one... I was trying to see where the road (rather a trail) is connected to...

    Tacho blinks

I noticed that sometimes when I start riding there is a blinking bar at the tachometer between 0 and 2k (just on the bottom). Then after some time it stops. Anyone knows why it's doing it? It is on a 06 model with digital tacho.

    Need your opinion

Yeah, I Think for a sport ride, the bike mounting is more dynamic, but for a scenery view maybe the helmet view is better... Dono, still on the fens
