Try being out here in AZ. Haha, It's 100+ at midnight on a regular basis during the summer. :surrender: I have to garage my bike during the day, and only ride at night when it's in the 90's. Otherwise I'm sweating buckets by the time I get to my destination. :/

I went through my squid phase too, until I realized it was completely retarded. I'm so glad I had my helmet on when I went down, or I wouldn't have a face. Now I keep it hanging on the wall in my bedroom as a reminder, cuz sometimes I don't want to wear a helmet cuz it's too hot out. haha

^This. I just rebuilt/UPGRADED my front forks with new seals, retainers, racetech springs and heavier fork oil for about $100 less than it would take a shop to just swap the seals.

Get some tools and learn how to do basic maintenance. It'll save you a ton of money, and make you more knowledgable when you have to take the car somewhere. I love wrenching on my car and bike, and I'm learning to do more complex and invasive work on both of them. It ends up being a lot of fun. :)

Agreed. That's why I would only like it as a second or third bike. I could ride it to work to save gas, but no roadtrips on that.

I would too if it wasn't so expensive. No way I'd keep it as my only bike, so it would have to be cheaper for me to get it as a second.

I'm going to Sears to try to find one tonight after I get off work. I heard that the nuts and bolt tool worked, and by the time I figured out it wasn't happening everything was already closed. I just don't want to keep my bike in the living room for a while.

That's what I thought, but I don't have an impact driver. I was looking at renting one at Home Depot a half hour ago, but they don't have it to rent. I've snapped two bolts now, and everything is closed. This kinda really sucks.
