What tool did you order and where does it plug in? Our bikes (at least 04-06) do not have a diagnostics port, it has the ability to display error codes in the dash though.

I checked mine at 49 000 km and all the valves were within spec. 7 Sounds kinda extreme. If there's a chance they lied to you then how do you know any work was carried out at all.

I have Motul 7100 (fully synt) since 800 kms ago, really doubt it's the oil. I'll have to check the clutch cable, can't think of anything else that could be preventing N -> 1st while rolling.
