I've got a blue one (06) and I love it, I also have an R6, love that too, both totally different rides but basically the FZ6 does everything I want it too, simply put it is an excellent bike, you will love it!!

What about a little bit of heat directed at the bolts from the outside of the crankcase, may loosen the loctite enough to free them. Just a thought

I had the same problem with buffeting on my 06 so I installed the genuine Yamaha taller screen which I got from E Bay, it has made a noticeable difference but takes away from the styling slightly, I will get used to it but may take awhile.

Ok Cycle Gear prices for the TBs as they dont do Akropovic as follows, Aluminum $719.99, Carbon $899.99 and the Titanium $899.99 all US plus $25.00 shipping. Still a bit pricey when you do the conversion, I will still try and get down to around $600 US if I can.
