I thought the S2's had a space at the bottom of the windscreen to even out the low pressure zone... Or am I confusing that with an FZ1 or R1? :confused:

So you're using a 22" homemade screen with a laminar lip? Is that right? Or is it a stock screen that you've heat molded at the top? I'm a bit confused... I read your review on the FZ6R site. Looks like you had your screen custom made... :confused:

Thanks for getting the ball rolling. I didn't put the Puig Standard in the poll because it has the same dimensions as the stock screen, and is basically an esthetics upgrade... They do look sharp, but I'm looking for something at or near stock size, while still diminishing wind...

I'm looking at getting a better touring windscreen. I've read a tonne on this subject here and elsewhere, from chopping mods, to venting mods, to the Laminar lip, and different height/rake angles on screens. I like the esthetics of the stock screen and height. However, on the S1 I own large...

This type of negative energy has likely been building up in the select few since the Olympics, where the action was so policed you couldn't even frown without being asked to sort yourself out by the police. The playoffs were so much less policed it was a cake walk for the instigators to...

So long as they're legal and still offer a performance gain, great. Not sure about the U.S., but here in Canada we're having issues with consistency for testing bikes with loud pipes. So a lot of the fines are being thrown out when fought...

+1 on head bearing! Mine did the same thing, but at a much 'younger' age. You'll be happy with the difference a set of roller bearings will make :thumbup:
