Just me, but I've never brought coolant or oil. You can get either at any gas station. But if you have the space for it I guess it's no big deal. Your tire patch kit is a good idea, but do you have a way to inflate tires? Take lots of pics and post them up when you get back!:thumbup:

I've had one of the generic throttle locks on mine and couldn't do long rides without it! Not as sleek as a throttlemeister, but function's still there!

I went the fz6r bars on mine. Was gonna go with the fz1, but I like the bit of rise to the fz6r handlebar. Much more comfortable than stock.
