Insurance rates dropped again. I am now paying the same amount for 4 bikes worth of insurance as I was 2 years ago for 2 bikes.

my friends all tell me the 16 is good only as a dry tire you hit any rain and it doesn't like it at all ...

i find tire wear on the rear is almost completely dependent on how hard you are on the gas, if your always hard on the gas accelerating u're going to burn it up quick ... case in point? i got 9k on 1 set of Metzelers Z6's mostly interstat'ish like roads and constant speeds ... another set that...

it was not all on this fz6, 16k was on a Kawi 750 and the other 3 mileages were on a super heavy bike a ST1300... that ST it currently has 95k on it. The FZ6 is commuter and track days so its current shoes are Pilot Power 2CT's. They are gummed up on the edges a bit from the track day I did...

i have had 4 sets of michelin pilot roads and they lasted 16k, 18k, 23k and 25k ... so to me they are all long lasting, the higher mileage numbers were achieved on mostly constant speed highway runs

that kit is for 99-02 forks, the fork mod I did on my 08 FZ6 was from an 03 / 04 fork ... ?

haha your description almost described this meal I had, it was a 'sampler' had croc, roo, aussie beef, and camel I believe it was ... with some berry sauce and spuds... I get hungry thinking about all the good food we had down there...

I didn't mean to sound judgemental at all. So if I came across that way I apologize. I'm just curious about all the comments on 'needing to sell a bike' to get rid of the payments or for the cash ... We initially did the paycheck to paycheck thing, I think everyone does at some point and...

I don't finance either of my bikes (nor will I when I get my 3rd bike), nor the truck / cars in the house. I like to pay it in cash, if I want it, I made damn well sure I worked and saved enough to buy it. So its never a 'requirement' for me to sell it because the monthly payments are too high...

that quote with statefarm for me was only if I brought a car over to them, but my car quote was twice as much ...
