Yes, I thought about it, actually I did put it up for sale on CL. But I wasn't really sure about it.......I now have 16K+ happy miles on it. Yes I'd like to keep it, as I'm the 1st owner of this awesome bike.
I really like the new 2013 Kawee ninja 300 in Green...as another bike, but can't...
This thread started years back, it's already what, August of 2012, still haven't met anyone here personally or riden with anyone here.
Well, at least now there's 2 of us here Solano co. & 1 in Marin.
Hey, that's BBoy.......in Marin
& Kevin in Vallejo also.
'not exactly in the right location, but here in Vallejo area. If you have some upcoming rides, don't hesitate to pm me. I might just go & ride.
After reading this thread, 'check my chains, did with a measuring tape & behold, my chains were too tight. No wonder I was hearing some whining at times and wonder where it's coming from.
Thanks! Adjusted it to about 1.7" +. We'll see when I take it out again to Lake Berryessa, Napa, Cal.
I had this problem last year & finally found out that my front tires were wearing out unevenly(Cupped). Replaced, shuddering gone on deceleration around 60mph
Maybe a Meet & Ride somewhere in the middle of Monterey and the Bay Area might get some riders to come out...lots of nice places to ride in that area, like Hwy 25. I need to get out there in your area too, or you guys can ride up here and we'll go to the Berryessa area.
thanks Chevyfazer for making me understand all that........Another question, how long do you have to leave the battery disconnected? I left disconnected for 3 hrs, is that enough time?
I decided to jump on this airbox mod, just the simple cutting, nothing to extreme. Since I really can't afford after market exhaust, I also decide to just drill the muffler with a 3/4 drill. For now, it will do. Also disconnected the ground wire after the airbox mod, like some fz6'ers suggest on...
I just replace my Stocker B'stone BT-020's for the 023's also. Now, question is what are the tire pressures on these pair (Front/rear). I usually set the front between 33-36psi, rear between 36-40psi. Is this right?
Would you let it go for $15.00? I'm going to SD on the 8th of April. I really have no need for it , but for $15.00, I'll pick it up. Of course, if it's not all scratched up .
