    Motodynamics Integrated tail light question

I returned mine for an exchange and received a perfect one. Huge difference. I am a little peeved that they don't offer a return shipping label when it's their fault! So basically I had to pay an extra $10 in shipping to get what I should have received in the first. To the person...

    Motodynamics Integrated tail light question

So they're obviously offering to replace the light. I'm just disappointed that I'll have to deal with installation again. Hopefully they don't send me another dud.

    Motodynamics Integrated tail light question

Just installed mine, which is clear, and it has a similar problem. I'm extremely disappointed at the poor quality control as this doesn't seem to be an isolated issue. I emailed them with photos so I'll see what they say.

Do you wear a spine protector?

After reading this post, I ordered a Forcefield pro sub 4 back protector and matching chest pad. The spine protector definitely makes me feel much more secure. In conjunction with the chest pad, I feel as safe as possible and neither is uncomfortable to wear. I really see no reason to...

Help picking an Ohlins rear shock

No plans for track or heavy duty use. Just want to upgrade the rear after a full Race tech front makeover. After some research, I might go with a local SoCal company called Works suspension in Canoga Park. They have an emulsion type with no reservoir for $380 with good reviews.

Help picking an Ohlins rear shock

I'm having a hard time deciding between the Ohlins ya403 vs the ya723. The 403 doesnt have the remote reservoir or compression adjustment. But the price different is +$300. Anyone have opinions or experience? How important is compression adjustment on the rear?

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures. My phone would've been an oily mess had I tried taking pictures throughout. I know it sounds complicated but once you start seeing everything it's fairly straight forward.. I will post updates on any adjustments I make after I log some miles. The...

Race tech springs/cartridge emulators installed w/ How To...

So I finally got around to installing the race tech springs and emulators. I weigh approximately 190 pounds without gear. I went with the 0.90 pound fork springs and the blue preload spring on the emulator. If you're doing just springs this is an extremely easy process. The hardest part was...

From touring fz6 to naked street fighter

I agree that a long tour is so much better with a larger windscreen. I would rather have no windscreen than any of the stock setups though. Buffetting is terrible with the stock even with an aftermarket puig.

The kit can be obtained from dev_usc, a member on this forum. Just send him a private message. He's very responsive in replying. The belly pan is from powerbronze. Ordered directly from their website. Was around $110 painted black.

    VS1 install time?

Nothing special. Just pure brute force. I used two pairs of pliers. One on the harness, one on the connector. You can experiment on the other harness that's not used any more to practice. That's what I did.
