My son has an 09 FZ6 and I have a 12 Ninja 1K.
I enjoy riding both but I really like the low end power of the Ninja as compared to the FZ that needs to be wound out. The FZ handles better and is easier to flick from side to side but I hear there are things you can do to the Ninja to help...
I sure wouldn't do either but that's just me. If you have to use a pressure washer just stay far enough back with the nozzle so you don't damage anything.
Nice looking trail!!! I'm done with MTB for the summer because I'm mainly a roadie but I really like my NINER a lot. The last time I was out though I had like 8 ticks on me, disgusting little things...
Sorry to hear about your crash, hope you get back on the road real soon...
You may want to check out the Bell RS-1, a really nice helmet for the price and on my head it felt so comfortable. We just purchased one for my Son and he loves it...
I sold my 08 Goldwing to a Guy from New Jersey, he drove straight thru the night with a trailer, was in Wisconsin at about 9am, took it for a test drive, paid me, loaded it up and drove back. I don't think I could do that anymore, the longest I drove was 25 hours down to Florida for Vacation...
Why would someone do that:(
I just picked up an 09 from a stealer with 1800 miles for 4900.00
I would be concerned with moisture inside the engine and if mice got into it and started chewing on wires or building nests in the air-box and etc....
That Bitch, you should find a lawyer that specializes in bicycle accidents. Did the police respond and fill out a report?
I frequent a bicycling forum that I could look up and see if they know of any lawyers in your area.
Yeah I guess we don't get a spring, we'll just go from 30 to 90's and humid...
My 49 y/o wife learned on a Ninja 250 and if she can do it you can. Problem is they liked to be revved up because not much torque. Good luck.
No I really enjoy riding it, it's the only way for an old fart to keep in some kind of shape. It is a combo of Record and Super Record...11 speed cassette.
Thanks for the welcome.
Here is the Duc, what a fun torque filled ride....
This was our Ninja 250
The Goldwing, the wife and I did a 12 hour day on it once with no problem...She even fell asleep a few times...
Unfortunatley the other were before the digital age so I...
Hi All...
Just picked up a 2009 FZ6 with 1865 Miles on it. I'll be sharing this with my 19y/o son who learned on a 250 ninja as did my wife.
Past bikes I've owned were a Honda 90, 1976 Honda CB 750k, 1986 Yamaha FJ1100, 2008 Honda Goldwing, 2010 Ducati MTS 1200.
Always had a soft spots...
