Our New FZ6

Hi All...

Just picked up a 2009 FZ6 with 1865 Miles on it. I'll be sharing this with my 19y/o son who learned on a 250 ninja as did my wife.

Past bikes I've owned were a Honda 90, 1976 Honda CB 750k, 1986 Yamaha FJ1100, 2008 Honda Goldwing, 2010 Ducati MTS 1200.

Always had a soft spots for Yamaha's even-though my 2nd gear went out on the FJ but it was fun rebuilding it myself and I'm sure that bike is no longer running, LOL

This seems like a fine little bike and hope to enjoy it for years to come...

Here is the Duc, what a fun torque filled ride....

This was our Ninja 250

The Goldwing, the wife and I did a 12 hour day on it once with no problem...She even fell asleep a few times...

Unfortunatley the other were before the digital age so I would need to scan them in. There was a period of about 18 years that I didn't have a bike as we were raising the boys and I spent more time on the bicycle.

I started riding when I was around 14 and purchased the goldwing in 2008 when I was 49. Yikes I'm old!!!!

Is it bad that I think the best one is the Linskey? And it has Campy. Nuvo Record, Record, or Super Record?

I have a Cannondale but i dont get out to ride much.

No I really enjoy riding it, it's the only way for an old fart to keep in some kind of shape. It is a combo of Record and Super Record...11 speed cassette.
