I've been using stock mirrors but have considered switching to bar ends in addition to a RiderScan mirror. Not sure how popular the product is here in USA but I've seen several reviews and generally good things about it...

The battery was certainly the culprit in this case... thanks everyone for your assistance!
As for the fuel gauge, it was all connected but I'll be re-investigating that issue at a later date. Perhaps some debris in the contacts but we'll see.
Thanks Tyler! I'll be checking these items out on Tuesday probably. I had checked out the forum and did a bit of searching (just not for blinking fuel gauge yet). Just felt it might be appropriate to make a new post since my problems are somewhat 'unique' to me at least :D. I love getting some...
Hi all,
So I finally started riding for the first time a bit today in a parking lot. Loads of fun though I was just about ready to do a bit of street riding when my bike up and died on me. I took a quick video of the issue I'm facing and since I'm very new to motorcycles and vehicle repair I...

I sure hope it's a great starter bike! I put a deposit down on a 2006 FZ6 and will be picking it up later this week. I figured this forum is going to be a great resource as I start out and learn the ropes. Having never ridden a motorcycle before, it's going to be a fun time I'm sure.
I look...
