I feel for you... I am still awaiting my frame sliders... ordered them over a month ago and apparently they are back ordered. I was going to a job the other day on my bike, and the driveway was plugged up with vehicles. So I went around on the lawn and planned to come up on the driveway around...
OK, I haven't read all 9 pages of this post, but I may be a winner for most embarrasing... I have not ONE but TWO Miley Cyrus songs on my ipod. :spank:
I stripped the head on that exact same bolt when installing my Givi cases. I can't believe how tight they are! I just took a pair of robogrips to the head, gave it a turn, and it worked like a charm!
Thanks for the post. Great reality check for those of us who are healthy.
The Universe has a plan for her. Trust that it will guide her to where she is meant to go. My prayers will go out tonight.
Finally got my cases on... it took me about 6 hours, but I bet I could do a second set in about an hour now that I have it figured out! The hardest part is figuring out the moving and re-wiring of the rear signal lights. Givi includes essentially no instructions on how to do this part! I did...
Count yourself lucky that you at least have insurance options... poor us here in British Columbia can ONLY get insurance through our government insurer, ICBC.:Flip:
My yearly premium is $2650, I have an 8 year totally clean driving record, am 34 years old, and live in a town with <10,000...

Hi Fz6Steph... I also am a type 1 diabetic. 3 cheers for insulin (yay Canada for inventing it), but lets get some stem cell transplants working....

Blackfoot Motosports in Calgary, AB has the 2008 FZ6 listed at $6,999. They have both blue and black. Blackfoot Motosports.
I think they have some of the best pricing in Canada.
WOW! I certainly don't agree with the speed... I myself am a very casual rider and have never exceeded 150 km/hour on my FZ6, but 15 months in jail (or minumum half I guess) ...wow that would change your life wouldn't it? You'd lose your job, you might lose your marriage, etc.
Serious stuff...
I suppose you are right for NYC, there people know how to drive and they are used to parking like that so I would be more apt to trust their driving/parking ability. Same with many European countries. They park wherever they want. However I live in a remote (Canadian) mountain town of only 8,500...
OK, why does this seem to always happen to me? Why do cage drivers not understand us at all? I was going to church on my motorbike this morning, and I have learned my lesson previously not to park my motorbike anywhere where someone could park in front of me on the street and subsequently back...
