Yeah I just went to get my 2005 FZ6 inspected, and I've been feeling the slack in the fork so I told them to check it out. I bought the bike last fall, and the front fork was really really bad then, so they tightened it up and it was nice again until it slowly started to loosen up a bit again...
When in such high speeds, the calipers are unable to deliver the same amount of friction to the brake discs because they go around so fast, which then again makes it harder to slow down.... i've been in your situation, and it is NOT fun :P Hate how the wheels start to skid before one can use...
I think it would be more practical to get your motorcycle before your license.... if you dont have a bike the normal road test would be unavailable and you would have to consort to alternative methods like the PAMPS basic ridercourse or something else... I myself as a 16yo got my bike last fall...
First of all, if you drove at highway speeds and an animal jumped in front of your bike there wouldn't be much you could do about it really :P
I'm not really sure, but the way I sit on the bike with straight back and bent arms, I don't really ever feel a need to rest my arms (except throttle...
"she had a hair appointment, and she was going to be late because of the train so she decided to run over me" ......WOW what the hell??? That part left me more speechless than ever.... what the hell?!!?! ...i don't trust old people on the road.... this doesn't help their cause :P
Those look absolutely amazing, although I would get blue ones since my bike is also blue..
Another quick question, did you ever get in trouble considering their legality? :P
Haha, well for a junior in high school its all about looks you know :D The pictures didn't seem to fit the shape of the FZ6 headlights or doesnt that matter? You know how the installation on these are? thanks for replying so quickly
and i mean, again all i can say is
I've seen a couple of bikes out there, R1s and R6s with the so called "Angel Eyes:drool:" or "Devil Eyes" headlight conversion kit. I was wondering if they do exist for the FZ6 aswell or just for a select few other models?
I've been riding my FZ6 since i got my permit, and insurance really wasnt THAT bad + the rebates one gets from the completion of Basic Ridercourse. I hail from Lancaster, so not that far from Philly :)
Wazaaaup guys :D
just thought i'd tell you all, i'll be going for my license tomorrow @ noon, so you will have a new 16yo rider with you soon :)

Thanks to everyone.
and yes i did mean a rear tire not a wheel :P dont know where that came from.
I'll check up on your links and advice, and thanks again, your help is really appreciated :) :D
I just had my bike in for inspection last month, and the tech-guys told me that i would need a new back wheel by early spring. They ofcourse offered the most expensive they had, but I want to see what everyone here thinks i should get. I'm probably going to ride it mostly on back roads and a bit...
