So lots of people do the 15t & 48T sprocket swap for low end speed, which got me thinking of taking it a step further on my streetfighter, 14T/52T popped into my head cause I mainly ride intown, plus I don't ride over 100mph, I've owned the bike 5 years and only went to 120mph three times, so speeds over 120 is unneeded, and I'm not worried about gas prices, thinking of doing this in the spring, anyone if a speedo healer can calculate this ratio?

Not sure if this will work, I attached an Excel file but the drop down doesn't allow Excel (XLS) just Word (DOC) so Save As XLS if you want it to open. Enable Macros and go to town. . . View attachment 45921

I would like to ride a fz6 with that mod.
Like a drag bike may be.
If you try it, don't forget to write about the feeling.

I suspect you'll have a real hard time keeping the front end down under acceleration..

If you call /e-mail the Speedohealer manufacturer, they should be able to tell you. I suspect it'll work, it fits about any electronic speedometer...

I think you're really pushing it with 14/50. You're gonna be wishing your RPM's were lower whenever you get on the highway and you're going to be doing a lot of shifting. Why not just start with 15/46 and then if you want more you can change to a bigger rear sprocket?
