what do you think, there are a lot of kentucky, indiana, ohio folks on this site. its been rare to have a dry weekend, what with this crazy rain thats been sticking around, but it would be wonderful to pick a center point somewhere and while away the day riding and stopping for lunch and chatting about our bikes. so , what do you all think? if anybody is interested lets get it together. i'm totally game.

I'm game. We should have done this sooner.......partly my fault....i know, I suck.

This coming weekend is open for me, but I'm definitely out for derby weekend. I've got a tradition of getting as far away from Louisville as possible during the derby. This year I'm going to try and hike the entire knobstone in 4 days (close to 100 miles). I've been training like crazy for it and I'm totally pumped and ready to go, so no way am I missing it. After that I'm pretty much wide open too, so just let me know......

Ok, we have a date!!. As soon as I get with shaggystyle, we'll head out of louisville saturday and head to Etown, looks like we'll meet at the cracker barrel to have our repast and that is located off the North Mulberry exit, then Executive Dr, which if your coming from louisville is on the right, from the south its on the left . If there are any others wanting to come, please PM me your number, or email and if there are any last minute changes we can all be on the same page.

How about

SR62 west out of Etown to Hartford/Beaver Dam, right on SR231 north to Owensboro, right onto SR60, then south on 31W back to Etown? If we make good time a side trip up SR79 to Brandenburg off of 60 would work too. That would put us right back where we started.

Or we could go.
East on SR62 to Lawrenceburg, right on to SR127 south to Danville, right on SR150 west to Bardstown, and then back to Etown on 62.

Both look decent on the map.

You guys are going to have to come ride SR100 down here. Its a super good twisty. Sightlines are tight in places though, but its fun!!!!

Franklin KY to to Burksvile then 90 back to glasgow. It a rocking good ride.

Man, I'm sorry I missed this guys. Wrightme sent me a message about it the other night, but I couldn't do it today. Damn...you've GOT to do this again sometime and I'll be absolutely sure I can make it!

So what route did you guys take? And where are those pictures?

I only took a few pictures. The three bikes at a gas station while Shaggy took this BMW guys lunch money. We took the route East thru Bardstown on 62E Lawrenceville, south on 127 to Danville NW on 150 to 62w to Bardstown and Etown. There was one really nice 4-5 mile section of twisties on 62. Its was a good ride, we stopped in walmart and hung out for a while too. LOL J/king.

That was a great ride, after I left I did a few more miles, so I logged 300 miles today. I still want to ride, but my butt is hurting a bit. LOL shagg and write both have custom seats. Hey steve, it was really windy going north on 65, did you hit any wind gusts going south?

I had a blast today guys. Thanks.
