Yes, the stock FZ1 bars are silver. If you're wanting a different color, then you'd need to go with a different set of handlebars altogether, since the FZ1 bars only come in silver (I think...someone correct me if I'm wrong).
You might take a look at Rizoma bars at PJs Parts . They're a bit more expensive, but most people that have tried them really liked them, and they do come in gold.
