Catastrophic engine damage/noise?

Hi guys. Bike is still running fine - I’ve done about 220kms since the rebuild with only minor teething problems.

Still getting used to it as it’s my first bike, I bought it, rode it a little and then it had the spun bearing after a month.

Does the engine sound normal to you guys? I’m still in post build anxiety haha…

I'd record on both sides of the engine, Kinda ticky sounding but ticky is normal with stock exhausts.

Do you re-call how far out the cam chain tensioner was when installed?
I know the cam / crank marks were not dead nuts (some stretch to the chain).

I actually still haven’t put the new gasket on for the CCT as I didn’t want to keep wasting one time use gaskets if I had to take it off, so I’ll try to get an idea of how far out the CCT is when I replace the gasket.

Hey guys. Yeah, not sure about the whining noise, it might be more obvious on the video. I made another video of the bike after I’d been out riding it for 45 minutes or so.

I’ll investigate further when I have more time but to be honest, I think the bikes fine and I’m still just in post rebuild anxiety. I’ve done about 350kms on the bike since I put it all back together and it’s still running well. Had it up to over 10000rpm with no issue.
Gonna change the oil and filter once I’m at 500kms.

Quick update, 5 months post rebuild. I’ve now done almost 8000kms on the bike since the rebuild. It’s still running sweet as hell. Last week I did a 3500km week long trip from The Netherlands, all through Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Slovenia and back.

The bike didn’t skip a beat. On the final day I did the whole ride from right up in the Swiss alps back to the Netherlands in a single day, about 1000km. Still ran sweet as hell. Bike isn’t burning oil, nothing.

Just wanted to say thanks again for all the tips, and long may I and all who own this bike continue to enjoy it. I feel like now I have the bike I wanted to buy originally - reliable as hell.
