Hello

Is it a straight swap to change from the old swing arm to the new one? I got a 2005 fz6. Someone knows?

Thanks

Yes, bolt on swap.
Be prepared that you both may need a new shock needle bearing, seals, and that inner sleeve. After so many years the bearing cage fails from moisture intrusion/rust and many have a hard time getting the sleeve out of swing arm/shock due to rust...
Have fun...

I've already bought the needle bearings for S1. (I guess they are same for S1 and S2) I don't know much about inner sleeve though.

I've changed rear shock with an ohlins years ago.
I remember, it was a mess to take that collar out.
I hope this time it'll be easier.

Forgot you swapped out. Your install doesn't use that collar the way the oem install used it. The needle bearing in the oem shock is definitely not the same here. That said none of the oem parts apply to Ohlins install and that collar no longer wears from needle bearing rotation.
So, that long bolt came with shock?
