crank case questions

Trying to replace a crank case, is it just a matter of unscrewing it and then putting the new one on?? I hope???

Hey there it is the thing on the left side that says yamaha on it. It appears to just be a cover.

No problems just remove and replace.

A bit late now, but isn't it wet (oil filled) behind that cover? There is certainly a gasket, which requires replacing on re-assembly.

Well yeah man. LOL
You gotta drain the oil, and swap out the gasket, but if you dont know to do that you should just leave the thing alone. LOL
