I haven't been involved in claims issue in years, but in the old days, have them cut you check and DIY... When talking quality there is shop A vs B vs C but still no guarantee anything is done right as far as insurance goes. That said I would take the money/check as you can likely beat those prices and not paying labor buys you some proper tools.
